The 47th Legislative District is the newest state legislative district, being
established in 2002 redistricting arrangement. While being the newest
political subdivision, the communities of the 47th have been tied together for
generations. This area has all the necessary ingredients to realize its
potential. My commitment is to provide the leadership in Annapolis to promote our goals.
